| Letter from the Editor April 7, 2010 The iPad cameth, and though there is room for improvement within its sleek, curved frame, for once, a product largely delivered on the powers it promised, or, at least, that's what our full review says. If you don't believe it, we've got proof for you, the "seeing is believing" kind. Check out the iPad's typing experience, video playback, gaming deft, and web surfing speed, all in videos posted to our blog. The iPad does its job well (support for Flash video and running more than one app at a time excluded), but it's primary functions are geared more toward leisure than productivity, and for that reason (okay, one or two more), the iPad is better as an ancilliary device, one that backs up your primary notebook or PC as an alternative means to kick back with an eBook or digital comic, watch movies and TV from iTunes, or catch up on the day's news. If you're looking for an excellent notebook with productive prowess and fragging force (one that also won't fail your bank), our recommendation is at the start of this week's newsletter. And, as always, there's plenty more content to check out. Enjoy!
